Job Summary
Our marketing and PR agency is seeking an experienced Event Manager to plan and execute various events for our clients. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as experience in event planning, marketing, and public relations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, vendor management, logistics, promotion, and execution. This is a full-time position based in our office, and the candidate will report to the Director of Events.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute events for clients, including product launches, conferences, and corporate events.
- Create and manage event budgets and timelines, ensuring that events are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop event concepts and themes that align with client goals and objectives.
- Identify and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
- Develop and implement event marketing and promotional strategies to drive attendance and engagement.
- Manage logistics, including venue selection, transportation, catering, audio/visual equipment, and other event-related services.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that events are executed seamlessly and meet client expectations.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in event planning, marketing, or public relations.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Willingness to work outside of regular business hours and travel as needed.
